How Does SkinPen Microneedling Work?

SkinPen Microneedling works by remodeling scar tissue through controlled micro-injuries on targeted skin which then stimulates your body’s natural wound healing process. SkinPen doesn’t cause cellular damage to the surrounding tissues, and the precision offered by a patented device keeps the structure of the skin intact while providing dramatic results.

3 Phases Of SkinPen Skin Rejuvenation And Remodeling:

Phase I: Inflammation. Micro-injuries pierce the skin and trigger the body’s immune system to disinfect these tiny wounds, remove dead skin and debris, increase blood flow to the affected areas, and start the process of creating new tissue.

Phase II: Proliferation. The micro-wounds are then rebuilt with new granulation cells, which are part of the extracellular matrix. It is during this proliferation that a new network of blood vessels develops that deliver an increase of fresh blood flow to the area to promote faster healing.

Phase III: Remodeling. The micro-wounds are replaced with new dermal tissues and blood vessels during the remodeling phase, leading to vibrant, youthful-looking scar-free facial skin.
